Denver & Rio Grande Western 491 is a class K-37 type 2-8-0 narrow gauge steam locomotive. Built from a standard gauge to a narrow gauge steam locomotive by the Burnham shop in Denver in 1927. 491 runs today at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden Colorado. The K-37 class is the biggest class of narrow gauge steam locomotive to run on the DRGW. The only other class K-37 running today is 493 that operates on the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge RR.
