The Georgetown Loop Railroad is a historic narrow gauge railroad outside of Denver Colorado that runs between Georgetown and Silver Plume Colorado. The Georgetown Loop railroad is famous for the Devils Gate high bridge that runs across Clear Creek from devils gate station on the Georgetown side. Georgetown is also a very popular day trip from Denver. The Georgetown Loop railroad is open from late April through New years day with steam locomotives running most of the year. The loop is very popular during the fall color months in Colorado. They also hold a lot of event during there season.
